Procedure

The treatment starts with numbing the Tooth, Gums, Bones and Tissues surrounding the tooth. An access opening is made through the crown of the tooth and the infected pulp is removed. The patient is recalled after 2 days and the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected with thorough irrigation to wash away the debris. A temporary closed dressing is placed in the tooth and the patient is recalled after 2 days. In the 3rd Session, the canals are filled and sealed with rubber like material called ‘Gutta Percha’ and a permanent filling is placed on the tooth. Post this treatment, the tooth is restored with a crown for better protection.
