Procedure

The first stage of the treatment starts with numbing the surgical area which takes about 15 minutes. The flap of the gums are opened and the bone is exposed.

The implant placing procedure is started by drilling the bone in 2 or 3 sequences depending on the bone width. After achieving the desierd or ideal space, the implant is placed using special instrument (to avoid any external infection).

The implant is then attached with the temporary screw and tightend with a special tool called Rachet. The flap is then closed and sutured.

The patient is prescribed medicatoin and recalled after 7 days for suture removal. The second stage of the treatment begins after 3-4 months after the osseointegration (stabilization) of the implant with the bone. The surgical area is opened and the implant is exposed. A temporary screw is replaced with the healing abutment (cap) and sutured. The patient is recalled after 7 days (after the gum shaping).

At the thrid session, the healing cap is removed and abutment screw is placed and the impression is taken. The abutment screw and the impressions are sent to lab for final prosthesis. The healing cap is again placed and the patient is recalled with in 4 days for the final placement of the crown.
